Mail Delivery Times - First Class, and Standard

The Post Office has announced that mail delivery times are changing as of October 1, 2021. The main difference will be for long-distance mail. The previous standard of three days for First Class Mail is changing to five days. The reason for the change is less reliance on air. Local mail should not be affected.


The following two graphs are courtesy of the USPS and show first class and standard mail delivery times as of January 1, 2025 (mailing from Anaheim, California).
